“Clean hotel however the pool was closed and that was unfortunate.”

“We enjoyed our stay - the motel was a cozy (and clean!) place to return to after a day of exploring. Its affordability was also a plus. Would definitely stay again in the future.”

“I think this is a phenomenal Hotel. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the coffee. I wasn't expecting Starbucks but it was the most disgusting coffee you could ever put in your mouth. I tried it two days in a row and ended up getting coffee elsewhere. Aside from that it is a wonderful place today!”

“Nice quiet place.”

“Quiet, bucolic countryside views of”

“The cottage looks nice in photos and they do keep it as clean as they can; however, it is very rundown. We were bothered by the strong smell of fabric softener (gives us migraines) and mildew. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom narrow and dark, and overall, we just had “the creeps” the whole time. So much so that we left early. Honestly, we expected more for the price. You can find better options in the area for what we paid.”

“Perfect stay for a quick weekend. Location is perfect so we could walk to everything but loved how it was tucked into the backyard so our bonfires were private.”

“This may very well be the cleanest property on the island. It’s quiet, secure, easy to find, clean, well decorated, and parking was right beside the building”

“Easy access ”

“We paid for two nights but left early the second day. Just for clarity, this is probably a 1970’s single wide trailer with a window unit. I was expecting a house on the beach. The 100 feet of beach is across the street with private beach signs on both sides blocking you from exploring. You get what you pay for. I should have read other reviews before booking.”

“This is a great location if you want to check out the lake superior Lakeshore, as well as Bayfield and Madeleine Island. Everything is very conveniently located you can walk to most places in Ashland right from the place. The apartment is pretty basic with kitchen items, but enough to do what you need to do. Very comfortable bad and very quiet.”

“Everything was perfect! Very clean, beautiful apartment, with a nice bathroom and kitchen- everything we were hoping for!”
